A group of residents of Kingston and the surrounding areas came together and considered their religious obligation to establish an Imambargah/Husainiyah in Kingston. The Shia community residing in Kingston and the surrounding areas has been renting premises for Husainiyah for the last twenty-five year came together in building a space where they can freely practice their religious obligations and duties.
